I'm currently off work for a week, so I am planning on getting some serious work done so I can bring you some really in-depth posts in the coming weeks. But I'm also wanting to squeeze in a bit of R'n"R as well, so I've been alternating research on sumptory laws in 16th Century Italy with watching movies like the delightfully ridiculous Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters while stuffing my face with chips.
(I like bad movies and I cannot lie.)
Today, in the spirit of taking it easy, having fun and not thinking too hard, let's have a look at a lovely little polish by Rainbow Honey. It's called Pink Cloud, and was sent to me for review by the wonderful folk at Femme Fatale Cosmetics.
Pink Cloud is...well, it's extremely pink. But the good news is that if you're into pink, this is an extremely awesome pink polish. It's crammed full of enough glitter that putting anything under it would be totally redundant, and the colouring is a lovely "true pink" rather than the neon flavours that have been going around lately.
(I know some of you like neons, but I'm agin it. Always will be. Sorry. Not sorry)
My only niggle with this polish is that it was a bit on the thick side - hardly surprising given the extraordinary amount of glitter in it, but I did find myself having to push it around to make it smooth a bit more than I prefer. I've noticed this with a few US indies, and I'd be curious to find out if it's a difference in ingredients, or just a difference in tastes between Australia and the States.
A wide range of Rainbow Honey polishes, as well as many MANY other foreign indie delights from around the world, are available from Femme Fatale Cosmetics.
Great swatches!! Love the polish *-*
